Comedy And Slasher Horror Heads Back To School In TRAGEDY GIRLS Trailer





Pardon the expression, many youngsters would kill for their lives on social media. Never a day goes by without seeing some young person arched over a smartphone. Tyler MacIntyre made his name for the Frankenstein-esque  horror comedy Patchwork is back with Tragedy Girls. Which brings Comedy and Slasher Horror heads back to school as great friends bring their obsession with death to social media.

The movie has been touring the international film festival network (including Horror Channel Frightfest in London) now it's getting ready for it's cinematic/ Home Release a (U.S) Trailer has been released. A movie that harks back to 1990'S Teen slashers like scream with a Heathers even mean girls and a big slice of homage pie.


Best friends Sadie (Hildebrand) and McKayla (Shipp) are on a mission to boost their social media fandom as amateur crime reporters hot on the trail of a deranged local serial killer. After they manage to capture the killer and secretly hold him, hostage, they realize the best way to get scoops on future victims would be to murder people themselves. As their social media become an overnight sensation and panic grips their small town, can their friendship survive the strain of national stardom? Will they get caught? Will their accounts get verified?

There's no word on when Tragedy Girls will receive the UK and Irish release date, which will more likely to be a home/digital download release.However, this one has a few well-known names compared to MacIntyre's previous movies including our leading actress Alexandra Shipp (X-men: Apocalypse), Brianna Hildebrand(Deadpool), next to Josh Hutcherson, Craig Robinson, Kevin Durand.

Tragedy Girls also stars Jack Quaid, Timothy V. Murphy, Nicky Whelan, Austin Abrams, Kerry Rhodes, and Mary Carmen Lopez. U.S horrorphiles can catch this movie on a limited cinematic release from 20th October.
